Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta or Jogja is a tourist destinations in Indonesia, attracts many locals and international travellers. To get to Jogja is easy with several transportations, suc as:

Bus

From Sumatra, Bali, Lombok and most of the large or small cities in Java.

The biggest bus station at Yogyakarta is called Giwangan.

Train
Two train stations in Jogja are:
1. Lempuyangan, especially for economic class
   Economic class's train stop every station waiting for business or executive train passed, that's why we call it "a patient train". You will see many sellers of foods or drinks. Starting from this year, 2012, this kind of train will not sell a ticket without a seat. 
2. Tugu is for business and executive class
In business class, there are also some sellers, but not too many as economic. The good point of business and executive is that you can charge your mobile phone.

Plane
Adisucipto International Airport in Jogja

When you are already in Jogja, you can reach to the airport by train from Tugu near by Malioboro Street or Lempuyangan. Then you just walk after for a few minutes from the station.

Direct flights from Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia.
Domestic flights fly from Jakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Makassar, Balikpapan and many other big cities in Indonesia.
You will be charged a departure tax of 40.000 IDR for domestic flights and 150.000 IDR for international flights.

Airport taxis are available for about 50.000 IDR depending on your destination.
